Othman bin Bishr
Othman bin Abdullah bin Othman bin Al-Bishr[1], known as Ibn Bishr (1871) AD, corresponding to (1194 AH - 1290 AH). He was a historian and writer who was a contemporary of the first and second Saudi state, he recorded their events in his book Glory in the History of Najd.

Inception[edit]
He was born in the town of Jalajil, one of the countries of Najd in the Sudair region in 1210 AH[2]. He grew up in it, learned and memorized the Qur’an, and was passionate about knowledge, loving scholars. He travelled in Sudair, Al washm and Riyadh seeking knowledge.

He travelled to Diriyah in 1224 AH. And in Diriyah he received knowledge from its scholars, including:
- Ibrahim bin Mohammed bin Abdul Wahhab.
- Ibrahim bin Saif.
- Ali bin Ghoneim bin Saif Onaizah judge.
- Othman bin Abdulaziz bin Mansour is a judge of Sudair countries at the time of the Saudi Imam Faisal bin Turki.
- Mansour Al-Nasiri Al-Tamimi.
- Ali bin Yahya bin Saed Sudair judge.
- Abdul Karim bin Moaqil.

Death[edit]
The historian Othman bin Bishr died on 06/19/1290 AH, in the town of Jalajil. His grandchildren are still present in the city of Buraidah in the Qassim region, and in Al-Asha, and in Al-Zubayr.
His home[edit]
The historian Othman bin Bishr's house is classified among the ancient houses and homes in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is located in the city of Jalajil in the Sudair Governorate.
The historian Bin Bishr's house is located in the Deira neighborhood inside the old wall. The building is distinguished as having "sunken geometric shapes in the form of strips and arches executed with plaster." As for the roof of the majlis, it is covered with wood and palm leaves. On the west of the wall of the majlis there is a door leading to a small yard that includes two rooms. it is possible that they were used separately for the storage or cooling of water.[4]
