Owen S. Fenton is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at National University of Singapore (NUS).[1] During his Doctor of Philosophy research with Robert S. Langer and Daniel G. Anderson at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he developed new ionizable lipids for use in solid lipid nanoparticles. This work resulted in a patent[2] which is currently being evaluated in clinical trials. Owen's father is Paul Fenton, former ice hockey forward and executive.[3]
