Oxygen On The Rocks (also known as OOTR in short)[1] is a Hindi Rock band based out of Bangalore, India. The band started its journey in 2003 back in Kolkata when it was called 'Oxygen'. The members of the band moved to Bangalore one by one at different times and united to revamp the band, and it was renamed 'Oxygen On The Rocks' in 2015. Then onward, there was no looking back, and the band kept on winning hearts all over Bangalore and the rest of India. The members of the band are Souvik Chakraborty, Anish Chakraborty, Prosenjit Sarkar (German), Dipayan Banik (GBo) and Arnav Sengupta (aRav). Together they have released many original compositions and performed in hundreds of shows all over India.

Music
The band is primarily known for its music in 'Hindi Rock' and 'Folk Rock' genres, sometimes also referred to as 'Desi Rock'. The band has released many original compositions on various digital platforms.[2][3][4]
Moreover, all the band members being from Bengal, the music of OOTR has a huge influence of Bengali folk, and the band has also done many works in the Bengali language, e.g. the project 'Koyna'[5]. The band has also worked in Kannada language and did music for a few Kannada films.
In 2019, OOTR also came forward to do a massive collaboration with three other popular bands from Bangalore, namely Raqeeb The Band, Muraad The Band and Kalpanik Theory to voice a strong message against social and religious discrimination in the country, called 'Pehchaan'.[6]
