PDQ (short for People Dedicated to Quality), is an American chain of fast casual restaurants offering chicken fingers, sandwiches, shakes, and salads. The chain operates primarily in the Southern United States with more than 50 locations, most in Florida.

History

Founders Nick Reader and Bob Basham opened the first PDQ’s in Tampa, Florida on October 30, 2011.[1] For the 2016–2017 hockey season, they opened a location at the PNC Arena.[2] In 2016, the chain had expanded to 55 stores and received a rating of 97.4%, the highest of the chains included, for "Made eye contact" under QSR's Drive-Thru study.[3][4] In 2021, they signed a franchise agreement with Eastern Investment Co. to open restaurants in the Middle East and northern Africa.[5]
