PERCo (Saint Petersburg radio-electronic engineering company) is a Russian manufacturer of security systems and equipment. The company produces turnstiles, controllers, readers, locks, access control systems and Time and Attendance systems. The company's headquarters is located in Saint Petersburg.
History
The company was established in 1988 in Leningrad. In 1991, the first tripod turnstile was released. In 2007, PERCo produced the first in Russia Ethernet-based Complex security and management enhancement system [1].
In 2010 a new manufacturing plant was opened in Pskov.
In 2013, the study of the PERCo S-20 security system was included in the curriculum of 10 institutions in Russia and the CIS][2].
In 2013, construction of a new building with Research and Development center began in Saint Petersburg[3].
In 2014, PERCo produced the first electromechanical lock with voltage supply through the locking bolt.
The company's offices are located in Saint Petersburg and Dubai[4].
The company's products are widely used in Russia and internationally[5][6][7][8].
In 2019, PERCo became one of top three Russian manufacturers of ACS according to the Security Systems magazine[9] and among the world's leading manufacturers of turnstiles according to Pro Market Research[10].
