POSCO Chemical is engaged in Refractory, Quicklime & Chemical, and Energy Materials. In the Refractory business, the firm manufactures and maintains refractories, and the Quicklime & Chemical business produces quicklime and chemical products such as coal tar and light oil. The Energy Materials business provides main components for secondary cells such as cathode, anode, electrolyte, and separation membrane.[2]
