Palagummi Harish is an Indian-born entrepreneur.
He is also a seasoned advisor and strategist, wherein he has served on global advisory boards and as a Non-Executive Director across Startups (Life Sciences and Deep Technologies), Corporate and Non-Profit companies.[2]
He comes from one of the most prominent social and political families in India. He is the great grandson of political activist, freedom fighter and former President - Dr. Varahagiri Venkata Giri, who was the 4th President of India and is also the great grand-nephew of philosopher, knighted statesman, and another former President - Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan (Order of Merit), who was the 2nd President of India.[3]
Career[edit]
Harish founded the Element 8 Group, a venture capital and R&D conglomerate that is focused on global innovation, that pushes the boundaries of science and technology. The venture arm Element 8 Ventures focuses on commercialisation of Startups, while the research arm Element 8 Research advances areas of regenerative medicine, smart manufacturing, wearables, e-textiles and defense related technologies.[4]
