Pandavarkavu is a devi temple near Muthukulam. It is believed that pandavas stayed here during their vanavasa and kunti made the idol with the mud of a paddyfield nearby and worshiped devi here.[1] All the pandavas worshiped lord mahavishnu in temples near to chengannur. These temples are famous in the name divyadesam. There karunamuttm mahadevr templeelankal devi temple porurmadham templekollankal temple etc. are subsidiary temples of this major temple.

Durga devi is the main deity at the temple.

The temple is maintained by 5 karas of Muthukulam. The Muthukulam branch of Nair Service Society initiates the works for this temple. The thantri of this temple is kizhakke pullamvazhi illam family at harippad. manivelil variyam does malakazhakam. marar of this temple is koyikkal thattamuri family.
Functions
The mandalam festival is the major utsavam of this temple. It ends with mandalam chirappu. The arattu paramelam is very famous at this function.[2] trikkarthika, parautsavam at makaram etc. are also famous.
Location of this temple
This temple is 5 km west of harippad. First one should reach Muthukulam. The temple is 0.5 km far from Muthukulam junction.[3]
