Paramount California University (PCU) claims to be a higher-education private online university which offers degree programs in different domains of study. Its students consist largely of working adults. PCU has administrative offices located in Irvine and San Diego California where students may attend live interactive lectures online through the student and faculty portal,[1] e2go[2] or in a small classroom setting for students willing to travel to it's San Diego location. PCU has a local and international student body from the USA to Middle East.[3] It has regional offices in the United States, Australia, London, Dubai, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Paris.[4] PCU has over 16 schools of study, more than 71 specializations offered under Bachelors, Master’s and Doctoral Degree Programs.[5] According to The New York Times, Paramount California University is run by notorious degree mill operator Axact.[6]

President of PCU Yanni Zack has been a faculty member in the MS in Education- Reading and Literacy Graduate Degree Program at Walden University where he was an online instructor in the program. Professor Zack has also been an adjunct faculty member in the School of Education for Azusa Pacific University, a University Field Supervisor in Teacher Education and Special Education with California State University, Bakersfield, a TEFL Trainer with International TEFL Certification Programs in England, Canada and Japan, and an ESL Instructor at Long Beach City College and Compton Community College. He holds a double Masters in TESOL and Education and a BA in Radio-TV-Film. Professor Zack also holds California Teaching Certification in Multiple Subjects K-12, Special Education and Administrative Services, and is a Licensed California Private Investigator.

Senior Vice President Stephen Barnhart is an Educator, Author, and Consultant. Stephen Barnhart currently employs his talents as President and CEO of International Business & Educational Consultants, Inc. (IBEC) of Delaware. IBEC provides a worldwide connection of professional Associate Partners serving a widely diversified range of clients from universities, major fortune 500 companies, and churches and ministry organizations to small businesses and start-up companies. From China, Africa, and Turkey to the United Kingdom and the United States, IBEC presents and assists the implementation of innovative solutions for educational and business clients under the leadership of Dr. Stephen Barnhart. Stephen Barnhart earned his Doctor of Education from the International University of Panama and graduated magna cum laude, MBA from Universidad San Juan de la Cruz, and a BS from Kansas State University.

The Vice President Robert Burke was a professor of Information Systems at The University of Maryland for 15 years before moving to California. Robert has spent the bulk of his career in telecommunications and information systems. Today he is helping a media and social networking start-up come to life integrating television and internet content with social media. He is also working to bring up a custom broadband network solution for secure funds transfer in South Asia, consulting on power generation projects in the Mideast, and providing consulting on IT integration projects. Honors. Robert has worked in a range of innovative technologies including with desalination solutions, renewable's, and making bioplastics. Robert has worked on projects around the world including in Europe for Nokia, in country and across Asia, Europe, Australia, and parts of Latin America for Sprint, and in Middle East and South Asia for a US-based telecom consortium. Robert is in the midst of writing a novel set in Europe during the war.[7]

PCU is currently a member of the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA),[8] Council for Adult Experiential Learning. It's listed as an affiliate university with California University FCE[9] It's business license and registration is currently active and registered with the city of Irvine, California [10]
