Parth Ghorpade is an Indian International racing driver with experience in various categories of motorsport.[1] His career began in Karting and then progressed to Formula 4, Formula Abarth, Formula Renault 2.0, Formula 3, LMP3 & LMP2. Ghorpade became the first Indian driver to test with the Ferrari Driver Academy in 2013.[2][3] He is the Asian champion of 2012 Formula Pilota China.[4][5]
Early life and education[edit]
Ghorpade was born and brought up in Kolhapur, a town in the state of Maharashtra. His Grandfather was a Cavalry officer and an accomplished Polo player. His Grandmother played competitive Badminton, and his father was an international level Squash player.[6][7]
