Pathpartner Technology is a seed money funded company founded by seven founders[1] in 2006, developing Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Systems and Multimedia solutions. It is headquartered in Bangalore, India, and has a development and marketing office[2] in the United States.
Pathpartner Technology debuted its first intellectual property (IP) licensing at Mobile world congress 2011.[3] Pathpartner is listed as third-party at Texas Instruments,[4] and as an Alliance member licensing its HEVC decoder on Zynq 7045 at Xilinx,[5] In 2010, Pathpartner worked during very early days of Android and developed its mediaphone platform on Android 2.0 [6][7]
In 2010, it was chosen amongst the 'NASSCOM EMERGE 50 – Emerge Services' list by NASSCOM, the Indian chamber of commerce, for "50 Emerging companies which are redefining the benchmark of excellence for the next generation of SMEs."
In 2013, Pathpartner was awarded the winner of the 'Dun & Bradstreet SME Awards 2013' in the IT-ITES Small category.[8]
Pathpartner licenses its HEVC codecs on various platforms like ARM,[9] Xilinx,[10] x86 [11] platforms.
