Patrick J. McGinnis (born January 3, 1976) is an American writer, best known for his book The 10% Entrepreneur, published by Penguin Books in 2016.[1][2][3] Patrick is credited with coining the term "FoMO", or Fear of Missing Out, in 2004 after publishing an op-ed in The Harbus, the magazine of Harvard Business School.[4][5]
