Patrick Mullee

Patrick Mullee (born 8 October 1954) is a retired British diplomat. He was the ambassador to Uruguay and Ecuador.

Career

He joined the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 1974.

From 2000 to 2003 he was Deputy Head of Mission at Quito in Ecuador. From 2003 to 2007 he was based at the Directorate General for Defence and Intelligence.[1]

Ambassador

He was Ambassador to Uruguay 2008–2012. He became Ambassador to Ecuador in August 2012.[1] He retired from the Diplomatic Service in 2016.[2]

Personal life

He married Joanna Johnson in 1987, and they have two daughters.[1]
