Paul A. Pagnato (born 1964) is an American entrepreneur, author, and public speaker. Paul A. Pagnato is Co-Founder & Executive Chairman of Humanaut Health, a company empowering people to optimize their health + well-being. Co-Chairman of Cresset, Founder PagnatoKarp, a top multi-family office with over $40 billion assets under management¹. Paul is a Future Astronaut with Virgin Galactic. Advisory Council Member for Stanford Center on Longevity. Paul served on boards of INOVA Hospital Group, Openwater, Bulletproof, CFA Society, FAU Foundation, and Institute for Fiduciary Society. Early life and education[edit]
Pagnato grew up in Vienna, Virginia. He is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Pagnato also completed the Executive Program at Singularity University and serves on their Leadership Team as Ambassador for the SingularityU Washington DC Metro Chapter.[2][3]
Career[edit]
After graduating from FAU, Pagnato spent five years as a microbiologist working collaboratively with NASA and McDonnell Douglas[4] to search for life in outer space. He then pivoted to financial services and spent 19 years with Merrill Lynch where he founded the Washington, D.C Private Banking & Investment Office. Pagnato left Merrill Lynch in 2011 to become one of the first teams to join HighTower Advisors—a firm which he left in 2016 to form PagnatoKarp, an independent multi-family office and wealth management firm based in Reston, Virginia with over $4.5 billion assets under advisement.[5][6] A media contributor to CNBC,[7][8][9][10][11][12] The Wall Street Journal[13], Fox Business, Bloomberg, Reuters, CNN and The Street, Pagnato is a leading champion of the Transparency Wave™ affecting our world today. Paul successfully merged PagnatoKarp with Cresset becoming companies Co-Chairman, creating a top multi-family office with now over $40B assets under management. He is currently the Co-Founder + Executive Chairman of Humanaut Health, a company empowering people to optimize their health + well-being. Pagnato also founded the TrueFiduciary® Institute, a non-profit aimed at financial education and positively impacting the next generation. Personal[edit]
Pagnato spent ten years on the professional bass fishing circuit participating in over 54 tournaments.[17] As a youth, he competed in football, baseball, basketball, and skateboarding and later placed second in the World AAU National Power Lifting Championship.[18] Today, Pagnato is an avid fossil collector and a yoga certified enthusiast, continuously searching for ways to positively impact the world.
