Paula Rejon-Alcalde.[1][2] (born 14 March 2002) also known as Paula Rejon, is a Spanish model and actress who rose to fame in 2016 after becoming a finalist[3]of the modeling contest Elite Model Look.[4] She is known for her subsequent work in fashion and beauty, having been the face of multiple campaigns for brands such as Clarins, Clinique, Nars, La Roche-Posay, ICON or Lakeville Mountain amongst others[5] and being featured in publications Vanity Fair, Glamour Magazine and Vogue Magazine[6].

She is also recognized for studying at Ivy League institution Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania and earning a degree with Honours from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Early life[edit]

Paula Rejon-Alcalde was born 14 March 2002 in Granada, Southern Spain to an affluent family of real estate developers. She stayed in Spain until age 14, when she moved to Britain to enrol in Boarding School. While at school she was a bright student and graduated a year early based on merit with an Honours Award.[6]

Higher Education[edit]

Paula Rejon-Alcalde moved to London in September of 2019 starting her higher education at the London School of Economics and Political Science, ranked as best university in Europe, and second in the world for Social Sciences and Management[7]. In 2020 she moved to the United States to continue her education at the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania, an Ivy League institution ranked as the number one Business School for Finance in the world[8]. In 2023 she graduated from the dual programme with First Class Honours.

Modeling[edit]

Paula Rejon-Alcalde was first scouted by Elite Model Management at the age of 14[9] and invited to the Elite Model Look international modeling contest.[10] After becoming a finalist of the contest,[11][12] she gained further attention on social media and within the beauty and fashion industries. Nevertheless, due to her short age, she decided to leave modeling on hold to focus on her education.[13][14][15]

At age 15 she was scouted a second time at a gym in her hometown by Francina Models, leading her to sign a contract with the agency and launching her modeling career a second time.[5]. Since then she has been part of beauty and fashion campaigns for Biotherm, Clarins, Clinique, Nars, La Roche-Posay, ICON or Lakeville Mountain amongst others and international magazines such as Vanity Fair, Glamour Magazine and Vogue Magazine. In 2020 she signed with Lenis Models in London, and made a jump to the international fashion market[5]

Acting[edit]

In 2020, Paula Rejon-Alcalde commenced her acting studies at the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts of the University of Pennsylvania where she incarnated Jasmine at play "Fairview", Amina at play "Dance Nation" and leading Isla at "Arlington"[16]. In 2021 she completed Screen Acting Studies at Actors Studio in London, followed by filming at Pinewood Studios and landed her first lead on screen as Solaris, for web series NGC. In 2023 she completed Screen Acting Studies at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, UK.[17][18]

Paula Rejon-Alcalde lives between the United States, England and Southern Spain, sharing pictures of her work, trips and lifestyle on her Instagram account where she has over 20k followers.[19]

Events[edit]

Paula Rejon-Alcalde is a frequent attendee of the London Fashion Week, the Mercedes-Benz Madrid Fashion Week and the 080 Barcelona Fashion Week. In 2017 she attended IMG Fashion Camp in Florida hosted by modeling agency IMG Models alongside Lily Aldridge and Jasmine Tookes[20]. She has also been seen at entertainment industry and high-society events in London and Spain.[6]
