Paybis is a prominent international cryptocurrency exchange platform founded in 2014 by Innokenty Isers and Konstantin Vasilenko. .[1][2][3][4][5] Headquartered in Warsaw, Poland, Paybis has positioned itself as a global entity, providing a comprehensive suite of services for users worldwide.[6] In 2023, the company had 1.8 million registered users from 180 countries.

Overview[edit]

Paybis facilitates the buying, selling, storage, and transfer of over 89 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Stellar, Litecoin, Tether, Binance Coin, and Ripple. The platform's crypto wallet supports a total of 100 digital assets, demonstrating its commitment to offering a diverse range of options for users.  With operations spanning over 180 countries and 48 U.S. states, Paybis is recognized for its user-friendly interface, cost-effective transactions, and robust security measures.

History[edit]

Founded in 2014 by Innokenty Isers and Konstantin Vasilenko, Paybis has continually evolved to meet the dynamic needs of the cryptocurrency market.[7][8][9][10][11][12]

In October 2021, the platform launched its mobile application, available on both Android and iOS. It enhanced accessibility, allowing users to interact seamlessly with Paybis while on the move.

The introduction of a promo code feature in the same year showcased Paybis's commitment to an eCommerce strategy, effectively disseminating promotional codes across diverse marketing channels. In July 2022, Paybis further expanded its payment options by incorporating the Single European Payments Area (SEPA) for instant GBP and EUR deposits.[13][14][15][16]

On 22 May 2014, the domain was bought and the exchange officially started its operations in 2015.[17][18] It was during this time that Konstantin Vasilenko, the third founder, officially joined the company, leaving behind his position as CRM Delivery Manager in Accenture.[19][20][21]

During the first year of operations, the founders focused more on the technical aspects of the platform, improving its usability, interface, and security.[22][23][24][25]

It is only a year later that the platform really started taking off, becoming a viable cryptocurrency exchange platform. Paybis.com currently holds key partnerships with Israel-based payment processor Simplex, cryptocurrency exchange Kraken and BlueOrange bank.[26] Paybis.com further supports payment systems like Credit cards, SEPA Bank Transfers in Europe and Skrill/Neteller among others.[27][28]

Currently, the exchange supports BTC,[29] ETH purchase with credit cards,[30], LTC, XRP, BCH, NEO and is one of the first cryptocurrency exchanges, aside from Binance, to support BNB coin.[31][32][33][34]

All throughout their history, Paybis did not receive any external funding or investments and is fully self-funded by its founders.[35][36][37][38][39]

In September 2023, the platform added support for ACH (Automated Clearing House) bank transfers, providing US customers with the ability to purchase cryptocurrencies directly from their bank accounts.

With White Label On/Off Ramp Solution, Paybis offers a customizable tool for businesses, enhancing user experiences and ensuring streamlined conversions. This passwordless solution is designed for easy integration.
