Peter Gallina
Peter Gallina is a British fashion and advertising photographer, celebrity portraitist and visual artist based in London, but working internationally.
Life and work[edit]
Gallina was born in London. His photography was first used commercially to launch the D fashion magazine distributed by the Italian newspaper la Repubblica in the late 1990s.[citation needed] Since then his work has been used or commissioned for clients ranging from MTV to Cosmopolitan.[citation needed]
He had a photographic exhibition of his work in Tokyo in 2006 entitled Love Tokyo. Seen Unseen, at Gallery 21 in the Meridien Grand Pacific Hotel, Odaiba.[1] The forty photographs were all printed by hand, with some as large as three meters by two meters, literally making it one of the largest photographic exhibitions Tokyo had seen.[2]
Gallina is a member of the British Press Photographers Association.[3]
