Petey Martin born Patrick Joseph Martin (June 2nd, 1993) is a songwriter, music producer and A&R originally from Michigan.[1] He composed the Deadpool 2 title track Ashes[2]
Biography
Petey was born in Hillsdale, Michigan and began playing music when he was eight years old[3]. In high school he earned a scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston to study Music Production and Songwriting. At Berklee, he began writing songs for film and TV and signed his first publishing deal with Burnett Music Group and UMPG[4]. He has written songs for Celine Dion, Kygo[5], Steve Aoki, Jordan Smith (musician), Britt Nicole[6] and more.

Philanthropy
Petey created The Outlier Scholarship for graduates of Hillsdale High School pursuing a career in the music industry[7]. He was inspired to create the scholarship after reading Malcolm Gladwell's book Outliers and learning about the 10,000 Hour Rule.
