Peyman Saadat

Peyman Saadat (born February 9, 1973 in Tehran), is an Iranian-American reproductive fertility physician based in Southern California.

Biography[edit]

Saadat was born and raised in Tehran, Iran, and migrated to the United States when he was 13 years old. Saadat attended Fairfax High School in Los Angeles and graduated in 1988. He then graduated from California State University, Northridge in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts with honors in biology. Later, Saadat enrolled in the University of Southern California School of Medicine in 1992, where he spent four years studying and graduated with his medical degree in 1996.

Saadat then went on to complete his internship in 1997 and a residency in 2000 at the Los Angeles County and USC Medical Center, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In 2003, he completed a fellowship at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital at USC Medical Center, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility division.

In 2017, Saadat made an appearance in the television show Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood episode “Make It Count.”

Saadat currently resides in Los Angeles, California. He is married to Shohreh Saadat, and they have two children, Sharlene and Aiden Saadat.

Controversy[edit]

In 2016, Saadat and his practice were accused of misplacing a woman’s deceased husband’s sperm.[7] The woman sued Saadat,[8] and the case is still pending.[9]
