Marko Danial (born February 19, 2001), also known as Pharaoic, is an Egyptian entrepreneur and social media influencer[1] from Sacramento, California, with millions of followers across many social media platforms. While a teenager, Danial founded Spzrts,[2] a sports company that makes sports gear and apparel accessible to players nationwide.[3] Following high school, Danial began to focus on studying engineering in college, while, social media continues to be a side job for him. His social media involved posting on various platforms detailing his love for sports,[4] as well as running his own personality, hence, he goes by Pharaoic.
Early life[edit]
Pharaoic[5] as a freshman in high school made the decision to learn more about sports in which would result in the creation of his sports account on Instagram.[6] As he did not know much about sports compared to his friends, he was motivated to take that extra step to learn more. Danial attended Mira Loma High School and enjoyed playing basketball for a leisure activity growing up. He became a Los Angeles Lakers fan and enjoyed watching the game throughout life. Unknowingly, he developed a sports account that went viral from sharing a video of the late Kobe Bryant. Danial often refers to that experience as the time he figured out what he wanted to do and finally saw the direction in his life. After then, he would continue to grow multiple social media accounts for himself and would also generate clients that he contributed and impacted the growth of their public presence as well.[7]
Personal life[edit]
Pharaoic was born in Egypt on February 19, 2001, and later moved with his family to the United States in 2007. He originally is from Cairo, Egypt and he and his family now reside in California. His Egyptian background influenced his nickname, Pharaoic that most know him by. Egypt is known for its pyramids, pharaohs, and camels which is where the line of correlation draws. Danial graduated from Mira Loma High School in Sacramento, CA in 2019. Danial is a social media influencer as well as a youthful entrepreneur.[8]
Career[edit]
Pharaoic[9] started his career when he was younger.[10] Danial learned some marketing and growth tactics as he has grown several of his own social media accounts as well as for others. Pharaoic currently manages and controls many social media accounts on the platforms of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Twitter for various athletes and companies.[11] Marko wants to create a community by helping athletes grow, through his inspirations from Spzrts.[12]
