Philip Cecil Rickard is an entrepreneur from Canada who served as Founding member and CEO of number of companies around the world.

Biography[edit]

He was born in Canada and raised in Indonesia. He graduated in Arts and Philosophy from Washington’s Gonzaga University.[1]

Career[edit]

He led many organizations including Norsk Hydro, Astaga.com.[1] He founded and developed enterprises focused on natural resources, renewable energy, FinTech, and artificial intelligence. He was the founder and executive vice president of ActiveIQ Technologies, a company that provides Internet infrastructure software and services. He was the chairman and CEO of Singapore Stock Exchange Association.[2][3]

He served as CEO of BlackGold Group, an Indonesia-focused coal mining company for almost, 20 years.[4][5] He was also founder and president of Sawa Energy, a Calgary-based corporation.[6]

He is the founder and CEO of Nature's Vault, a GreenTech platform designed to accelerate the funding of impact investments combating climate change and ecosystem damage. Currently he is serving as CEO of the Nature Vault.[7][8]

Philanthropy work[edit]

Phil was co-founder of Artha Graha Peduli (AGP) COVID-19 Response Centre founded for fighting the COVID-19 in Indonesia. Artha Graha Peduli (AGP) distributed 1,000 home-care sanitation kits to families in Jakarta.[9][10][11][12]
