Philip Tiju Abraham is a nationally well known magician from Kerala, India. His stage name is Magician Philip.[1] He uses magic as a medium to convey his messages to society.[2][3] His passion for magic was so intense that he took magic as his part-time profession along with his IT Profession.[4] His intense love towards magic made him to get masters like Gopinath Muthukad, Sarang, Abdulla, Subash.

Early life[edit]

He was born on 22 April 1986 in Kottarakkara, Kollam as the second son of Dr. Abraham Cherian and Usha Abraham. He holds a bachelor's degree (BCA) from Hindustan College of Arts and Science, Chennai and master's degree (MCA) from Christ University, Bangalore[5]

Biography[edit]

Philip Tiju Abraham, more popularly known as Magician Philip. He started magic at the age of 12. Books and live performance became his inspiration for magic. Later he got trained under Magician Gopinath Muthukad. Soon he started a five-member troupe named 'Philip`s World of Mayajaal'. Because of his immense love towards magic, he took it as his part-time profession. The Dream of Gandhi-ji, a magically journey covering southern part of India was one of his biggest milestone.

The Dream of Gandhi-ji[edit]

The Dream of Gandhi-ji was a unique magical journey covering many parts of South India. The main objective of the journey was to spread Gandhi-ji's principles like peace, religious harmony, equality and non-violence. The journey covered majority of South Indian States like Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. The journey started on 2 Oct. 2010 from Bangalore and ended on 30 January 2011. The closing ceremony was hosted by St. Joseph's College, Bangalore.[2]
