PicCollage is a multimedia and design application used to create collages from photos, illustrations, and text.[1] It uses a drag-and-drop format and provides access to sticker graphics, backgrounds, and fonts.[2]The app reached 10 million downloads one year after launching.[3] PicCollage is available on iOS and Android mobile devices.

History[edit]

PicCollage was launched as an IOS-exclusive app in 2011 by Taipei-based developer Cardinal Blue Software.[4][5]

On June 27, 2012, PicCollage released its first Android iteration on the Google Play store.[6]

In 2013, it raised $2.3m in seed funding from 500 Startups, Floodgate Fund, Freestyle Capital, Quest Venture Partners, Sand Hill Angels, and XG Ventures, and opened a branch in San Francisco, California.[7]

By 2017, the app had reached over 150 million downloads.[8]
