The Pine family is a family of actors and politicians from the United States.
Entertainment[edit]
Chris Pine is an American actor and the youngest actor in the family. He has appeared in the Star Trek reboot film series, Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman 1984, and other movies. His father, Robert, has been acting since 1964, starting out in westerns.[1] He rose to fame after his role in CHiPs. Robert's wife, Gwynne, is a psychotherapist and a retired actress. Gwynne's mother, Anne Gwynne, was a horror actress and model.
Politics[edit]
William Bliss Pine was a businessman, teacher, United States Senator from Oklahoma, and Republican Nominee in the 1934 Oklahoma gubernatorial election.[2] He tried to get elected for another term as Senator, but failed to win. He died in 1942 at the age of 64.[2]
