Ltd in 2014 that includes responsive web design, multi-page HTML editing compatible with CSS, SASS, LESS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Foundation and WordPress.
Early history
Pinegrow was initially developed by Matjaž Trontelj and Ivona as administrators in 2014 as a desktop app. At that time, other builders were mostly web based with monthly fees. The initial intention was to make a visual web editor software without replacing the existing workflow.[1] The launch publication was made the evening of January 8, 2014. The starting payment system was possible by using PayPal but soon they switched to Paddle.[2]
Features
Supports Windows, Mac or Linux. Possibility to build web layouts with visual tools for editing HTML elements. Inspect and modify the style of a page in real time using CSS, SASS and LESS. Visualization of the HTML as a tree structure. Insert multiple automatic elements. Supports Bootstrap, WordPress theme builder integration.[3] Since version 2.9, it enables live editing synced to Atom.[4] Has two main payment models: a one-time payment to use the software forever (and one year updates), or a monthly subscription plan.[5]
