Philip Kembo, known professionally as "Pip Kembo", is Zimbabwean-born, Grammy Nominated[1] record producer and songwriter signed to Mike Caren's publishing company Artist Publishing Group. He has co-produced and co-written for Sean Paul, Pitbull, Chris Brown, Camila Cabello, Jason Derulo, Dua Lipa , French Montana and many others.

Early life and Education[edit]

Pip was born and raised in Harare, Zimbabwe where he attended Hartmann House Primary School and St. George's College.[2] Pip started making beats at the age of 13 when a good friend introduced him to the program FL Studio but went on to pursue a degree in Marketing & Advertising while making music as a hobby. Pip completed his undergraduate degree at Lancaster University and went on to obtain a master's degree in Advanced Marketing Management. Soon after graduating Pip relocated to Los Angeles and was signed to Artist Publishing Group in August 2016. Soon after Pip landed his first big placement "No Lie" by Sean Paul ft Dua Lipa.[3] He recently co-produced "Hey Ma"[4] which was one of the lead singles of The Fate of The Furious Soundtrack[5] and "Questions" by Chris Brown.[6]
