Planet Case are a Finnish band from Seinäjoki.[1][2] The band have released six singles, with the latest single "Chemical" released in 2019.[3][4] The members include Aapo Hakala on drums, Aleksi Yli-Sissala on vocals, Otto Nyyssölä on bass, Teemu Hakala on guitar and keys, and Tuomas Kätkänaho on guitar.[5]
The band published their debut EP "Simple Thoughts" in 2019 via Soit Se Silti, which included the singles "Universe and I" and "Satellites" along with three new songs: "Average", "Same Old Blood", and "Industrial dust".[3][5] Their song "Satellites" featured on Nordic Spotify’s New Music Friday after its release. [6] The band's music has also been featured on national radio.[7][8]
In the summer of 2019, Planet Case played their first stadium gig as they supported Sunrise Avenue on Telia 5G Arena in Helsinki.[3][9] The band also supported Satellite Stories’ on their farewell tour in Finland and have been the opening act of Provinssi.[3]
The band's music has been associated with the likes of Coldplay, The 1975, The Vamps, Imagine Dragons, and Owl City.[5][6][10]
