Platinum G (also known as just Platinum and formerly known as Blue Lazer) is an American Rapper out of Houston, Texas. After being involved in the underground Houston rap scene and releasing several mixtapes, he has gained recognition in the Hip-Hop scene. Platinum G gained initial recognition following the release of his debut self titled studio album Platinum G (2022).[1]
Even though his career is on the rise, none of Platinum's music has surfaced online.
Personal Life[edit]
Platinum G keeps a very private personal life. Little is known about him outside of Houston. He has referred to his crew as "the BUDZ" no footage can be found of them, however. He has also numerously given a shout out to "his boy D-man". It is unclear who this is.
In april 2022 it was revealed that Platinum G was in a relationship with several instagram models including, Melanie Shark[2], Chloe Warm[3], and Paola Skye[4] amoung others. Platinum has recently stated that he is "off and on with them".
Interview[edit]
In early 2020 Platinum G went on the (now off air) radio station 103.9 The Bang, in Houston. Recordings have been kept but no footage has been found of this interview.
In the interview Platinum discussed his music, how he started rapping, and the Future of his career. He also freestyled at the end of the show which is considerd to be what got him noticed and started his career.
Clout[edit]
Even though Platinum G has not gained a lot of fame in his rap career yet, He is known to sometimes host legendary parties and having met a lot of famous rappers such as: Smokepurpp, Trippe Redd, Lil Pump, Young Thug, Future, and even known to be good friends with Lil Gnar. Platinum G has yet to meet Drake who he jokingly states is his "biological father".
