From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Play With Me is a 2014 British action thriller film written and directed by Colombian director (Yezid Jimenez).

Plot[edit]

Play With Me.[1] is a feature psychological thriller about Trevor (Alfonso Sohle), a renowned Spanish violinist who comes to London as a guest performer, in view to become a chamber musician in an acclaimed orchestra. His girlfriend Lola (Carolina Rivero) accompanies him. Film is set in an old English house where Trevor and Lola are staying at Rosie’s (Annyk Sebestyén), an independent artist and classical music fan. Top violinist Eva (Sharune), Rosie's friend, is insisting in endorsing Trevor so his career is taken to the next level. While at Rosie’s house, Trevor and Lola meet Ricky (Sammy Attalah), Rosie’s boyfriend, who incidentally is the same DJ Lola met in Ibiza where she was working as a waitress some time ago. Unknown to anyone, Maxima (Rocio Fernandez), Rosa’s tough and over-protective mother wants to personally question Ricky, to ‘clarify’ what really happened between them in Ibiza. To do so, she intrusively travels to London in pretext to visit her daughter. Lola gets to know that Trevor and Eva used to be lovers and gets very jealous. Trevor gets into accident, his arm gets damaged and he cannot play anymore. Doctor Dr. Duttle (Anna Fiertag) states that recovery will take time and it is unclear if he will be able to play. Eva steps in to help him slowly train to play again and they hook up in hiding of Lola. Maxima driven by rage kidnaps Ricky and tortures in the same house upstairs without anyone knowing.
