Players Media Group is a digital media agency with a focus on sports and entertainment. It was founded by Collin Castellaw and Deron Guidrey in 2018.[2]

Players Media Group was founded by Collin Castellaw and Deron Guidrey in 2018, who previously founded a sports influencer agency called Pregame Media.[3] The company aims to serve as a platform for sports personalities to create, broadcast, and monetize their own content, while distributing said content to their fans with ease.[2][4] Anthem Sports & Entertainment is an investor and strategic partner in the company.[5]
In March 2021, Players Media Group announced that it received a strategic investment and entered into a partnership with sports media company, ClutchPoints.[6]
In April 2021, Players Media Group announced that it had entered into a multi-year content partnership deal with Swiss investment bank, UBS.[7]
Programming[edit]
The company currently has two program offerings.
- PlayersTV
- PlayersTV is a network for sports athletes to create and showcase content on their personal lifestyles outside of their sports careers to fans. Athletes on the network include Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, Kyrie Irving, Travis Kelce, and Vernon Davis, among others.[8][9][10]
- In September 2020, PlayersTV announced the launch of ReMaking America, a series starring CJ McCollum discussing social issues with various guests of different backgrounds and how they can help impact change.[11][12][13]
- In May 2021, PlayersTV announced the launch of Cooking Clean, a series starring DeAndre Jordan cooking meatless dishes with various plant-based chefs.[14][15][16]
- In November 2021, PlayersTV announced the launch of Front Office, a series starring Allyson Felix, Chris Paul, Michelle Wie West, Travis Kelce, and Vernon Davis, where fans will pitch business ideas to them in hopes of obtaining their investments.[17][18][19]
- ProClass
- ProClass is a network for sports athletes to create and showcase content that virtually trains fans to improve their sports skills. Athletes on the network include Angel McCoughtry, Allen Iverson, Chris Paul, DeMar DeRozan, and Kyle Korver, among others.[20][21]
