The Company won support and recognition from a Seattle, Washington accelerator run by Microsoft Ventures and was the first company involved in higher education to do so.[2]

In November 2015, PLEXUSS was founded by JP Novin.
In 2018, PLEXUSS was recognized by Seattle-based Microsoft Ventures for its machine-learning technology in higher education.[4]
In 2019, the company launched MyCounselor, a virtual college-counseling service available to high school students at no charge.[5]
In 2020, PLEXUSS launched PLEXUSS Prime, a paid subscription service that includes "unlimited" college admissions advising, online tutoring, and student coaching support services.[6]
