Pradeep Kumar Yadav is an Indian karate coach, educationist and author.[1] He is a 3rd DAN Black Belt holder from the World Karate Federation and serves as a Brand Ambassador of the Government of India’s Fit India Campaign.[2]

Career

Yadav started karate in 1985 and earned his Black Belt in 2005 under Shihan Balram Singh.[3] Since then, he has trained more than 50,000 underprivileged children, promoting youth empowerment and gender equality through martial arts.[4]

In 2021, he authored Shotokan Karate: Easiest Way to Get Black Belt, a coffee-table pictorial book available in over 160 countries.[5]

He was honored with the Nelson Mandela Nobel Peace Award in 2022 along with an Honorary Doctorate.[6] He also received the Atal National Award from the Governor of Maharashtra in 2022,[7][not in citation given] and the Rex Karmaveer Global Fellowship & Karmaveer Chakra Award in 2024, jointly with the United Nations and iCONGO.[8][not in citation given]
