Born on 26th February 1959, Shri Pradip Khimani joined Central Bank of India as Part Time Non-Official Director on 21st December 2021.[1] Shri Pradip Khimani is Masters in Commerce in Statistics, Costing, Industry, Modern Finance and Business Management from Saurashtra University.[2]

Presently, Shri Pradip Khimani is the Chairman, Saraswati School[3], Junagadh (Gujarat). He is also a Member of Finance Committee of Indian Maritime University[4], Director in Girnar Yatradham Vikas Mandal, Junagadh[5][6] and the Member of Ethical Committee, GMERS Medical College, Junagadh.[7]

He is also active in Bharatiya Janta Party, Gujarat State. Currently he is Prabhari of Dev Bhoomi Dwarka District and State Incharge of Training Cell.[8][9]

Earlier, Shri  Pradip Khimani also served as the Director, Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Limited[10][11], Ruling Party Leader of the Junagadh Municipal Corporation[12] and the Chairman, Standing Committee, Municipal Corporation, Junagadh.[13]

Shri Pradip Khimani is the awardee of "Bharat Jyoti Award" by India International Friendship Society, "Global Indian of the Year Award" By National Development Forum and several other awards from several associations/institutions.[14]

Early Life[edit]

Pradip Khimani was born into Raghuvanshi Family in Junagadh, Gujarat on 26th February 1959. During his adolescence, he worked for the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and the student union Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad. He completed M. Com in 5 Subjects (Statistics, Costing, Industry, Modern Finance and Business Management) from Saurashtra University.[15]

As Swayamsevak[edit]

Journey starts at the age of 13 in 1972, Pradip Khimani joined as Swayamsevak in Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. In 1976, he performed many underground activities during internal emergency imposed in the country.[16]

Student Leader[edit]

In 1979 Pradip Khimani joined Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarthi Parishad. He was District (Junagadh, Gujarat) Convener for 4 years during 1979-1983. During this time he actively participated in several organizational activities and constructive activities, i.e. Cultural Exchange Program, Jayanti of various National icons, Social Welfare Activity, Book Banks and Career Guidance-Personality Development Programs.

Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari[edit]

Pradip Khimani was appointed as Co-convener of Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari for 3 years (1990–1993), where he work to channelize several activities to actualize Swami Vivekananda's vision of Jagadguru Bharat.

Bharatiya Janta Party[edit]

Pradip Khimani is actively working in Bhartiya Janta Party in Gujarat State. Currently he is Prabhari of Dev Bhoomi Dwarka District and State Incharge of Training Cell.[8][9]
