Prakash Chowdary is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works in Telugu Film Industry. His debut film Kirayi Hanthakudu went on to play for a record-breaking 200 days in 7 centers. His sibling Mohan Kumar is also a film director.
Early Life
Prakash Chowdary was born in Gudivada, Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh.
Career
He is well known for his usage of overcast weather and rain in all of his films, with the 2008 film 100 Bulletlu featuring rain in every single scene, most of which were shot in real rain, around Kurnool and Anantapur.
Controversy
In 2008, during the making of 100 Bulletlu, Prakash Chowdary was accused of sexual harassment by the female lead of the film (Subha). Coupled with the film’s disastrous run at the box office, this controversy put Prakash's career in the dark.
Prakash Chowdary hasn't made a film since 2008.
