Prerna Arora is an Indian actress, film producer and director. She was the producer of the films like Rustom (2016) and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha (2017).
Career
She gained prominence as a producer[1] through a series of commercially Hindi films, including Rustom (2016), Toilet: Ek Prem Katha (2017)[2], Pad Man (2018), Pari (2018), and Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran (2018)[3]. In the same year, she also produced Fanney Khan and Batti Gul Meter Chalu.[4][5][6]
Her work during this period was noted for blending strong storytelling with impactful social themes, helping her emerge as one of the most visible young female producers in mainstream Bollywood. She continued developing multiple projects.[7][8][9]

Legal issues
In 2018, Arora was booked for money laundering and arrested by Economic Offences Wing of Mumbai Police for allegedly cheating producer Vashu Bhagnani of ₹31.6 crore (US$4.4 million) In July 2022, She was booked for money laundering by Enforcement Directorate of ₹31 crore (US$4.3 million).[24][25]
In 2023, Bombay High Court pronounced the acquittal and quashing of the case against Producer Prerna Arora in a financial dispute registered in 2018 with Pooja Films.[26]
