Pretzel sticks, also Salty sticks (German: Salzstange, Polish: Paluszki), are a popular type of pretzel in Central Europe in the form of long, thin breadsticks made of yeast dough, mostly sprinkled with salt (also sesame or poppy seeds) and baked to a light brown color. They are often eaten as a pub snack with wine and beer.
