PriceWeber Marketing Communications, Inc. was founded as a commercial film company in Louisville, Kentucky on April 17, 1968 as Jack Price Associates, Inc. and was headquartered in a residential home located at 1701 Fraser Drive. On August 21, 1968, company founders, Edward "Jack" Price, John Weber, Elise Meyer and George Weinmann agreed to rename the company Price-Weber Associates, Inc. [1] The agency’s charter clients in 1968 included Mercedes Benz, Louisville spirits manufacturer Brown Forman Company and Columbus, Indiana diesel engine manufacturer Cummins. Both Brown Forman and Cummins continue to be agency clients today. [2] PriceWeber currently offers their customers marketing services including public relations, consumer and market research, web development, media planning and buying, video production, photography, creative strategy and execution and social media.[3] PriceWeber is a member of the Worldwide Partners global network of independent agencies based in Denver, Colorado.

  • In 1968, PriceWeber signs charter clients Mercedes Benz, Cummins and Brown Forman.
  • March 30, 1973 Price-Weber Associates merges with advertising agency W. B. Turner Associates and graphic design firm Swearingen Graphics. This merger made PriceWeber a full-service advertising agency. [1]
  • March 27, 1989 Price-Weber Associates, Inc. changes name to PriceWeber Marketing Communications, Inc. [1]
  • In 1994, PriceWeber produced its first commercial website for Cummins.
  • In 1997, PriceWeber produced the Maybelline Moisture Whip logo.
  • June 26, 1998, PriceWeber Marketing Communications, Inc. began operating under the assumed name PriceWeber.[1]
  • In 2003, PriceWeber named the first advertising agency for the American Trucking Association.[4]
  • In 2004, PriceWeber created a new brand identity for Cummins that included the Cummins red engine.[5]
  • In 2007, PriceWeber acquired Tectonic Concepts, a web application and development company to accelerate growth in their digital services.[6]
  • In April 2010, PriceWeber relocated their office from long-time space at 2101 Production Drive in Louisville, KY to their current location at 10701 Shelbyville Road in Louisville.
  • In 2013, PriceWeber is purchased from previous management by a new generation of employee owners including Fred Davis, Robert Trinkle, Brad Mercer, Richard Johnson, Tony Beard and Jeremy Schell. [2]
  • In 2019, PriceWeber announces expansion of employee owner group to include Susan Hovekamp and Jonathan Bone.[7]
  • In 2019, PriceWeber announced the creation of PW Financial Services Marketing, a specialty practice for banks, wealth management companies and insurance companies.[8]
