Princess Ayo Mary Laurent (born: 16 January 1989) at Ilesa, Osun State, Nigeria.[1] Mary is an African royal princess, Filmmaker and Creative Director of her fashion brand Mary Laurent Ltd.[2][3]

Early life[edit]

She was born into the Celestial Church of Christ, her father being a celestial prophet.[4] Her mother was born into the Cherubim and Seraphim Church of God and then became a member of the Redeemed Christian Church of GOD. As a child of a prophet of GOD, she had a very strict Christian background and upbringing that allowed only zero tolerance for ungodly values.[5] She is the great-granddaughter of the Ijesha monarch Owa Ajimoko ll Fidipote (10 Sept 1942 - 18 Oct 1956) and granddaughter of Samuel Femi Daramola.[6][citation needed]

Education[edit]

she attended the private and boarding school called Olatunde Memorial School in Ilesa, Nigeria for Nursery schooling,[7] Saint Anthony's Catholic High School for higher schooling and University of Greenwich and graduated with Bsc Hons in  Business Information Technology,[1] graduated in 2012, also attended the London School of Journalism for Postgraduate studies in News Journalism and Media Law.[8]

Career[edit]

She started a Literature and personal blog in 2012.[9] which saw her nominated in the blogger of the year category in the  Women4Africa awards in 2013 launched fashion collections under family fashion house known as House of Wealth.[10][11][12] Her notable work

Charity[edit]

She donates clothes annually to the less privileged children in the sub-Saharan parts of Africa, Supports the children in need in Mount Lavinia Sri Lanka, Supports Plantastic, a community gardening project in Dagenham.[1][7]
