ProProfs is a cloud-based SaaS (software as a service) company, located in Santa Monica, California.[1]

ProProfs was founded by Sameer Bhatia in 2010. Started out as a free quiz making website for educators[2] , and quickly developed into a full-fledged software provider for companies including DHL, Dell and Sony.[3][4][5] As of April, 2013, ProProfs had more than 1 million registered users[6]. As of May 2019, the company had more than 7 million website visitors per month with global Alexa Rating of 4122 (2142 in the USA)[7][8].In June 2015, ProProfs acquired HelpIQ, a Knowledge Base software product for developing an online help center, knowledge base, user manuals and other documentation.[9]

The company’s software products line includes: quizzes and surveys[10], online training course creation tools [11] and knowledge base software[12]. ProProfs also provides LMS Software that supports reporting features. The company’s tools are used for business, corporate training, e-learning and other industries. [13][14]
