ProTesys is a Cuban thrash and groove metal band formed in 2005. Members are Pedro Michel on vocals, Yuniesky Castillo on guitar and vocals, Ernesto Gerra on drums, and Harold Moreno on bass. Since its formation, ProTesys has launched a self-produced demo and the band is known for its lyrics and aggressive criticism related to Cuban society.
History
ProTesys was formed in Cuba in late 2005. They have participated in many concerts and Festivales throughout the country. The band began recording their first demo under the name of Censura (Demo) which was published in 2008, and in the following year was nominated in two categories of the program Cuerda Viva on Cuban television.
