Prosetta
Prosetta is an antiviral drug development company based in San Francisco, California. It was founded by UCSF researchers including Vishwanath Lingappa and Jaisri Lingappa. The company is working on small-molecule drugs (compounds that can be taken orally) to disrupt the capsids (protein coats) that viruses form for protection of their genes.[1] The company's work includes research on antivirals to combat hepatitis C.[2]
