Puneet Ahuja is a lieutenant general in the Indian Army, who is serving as the Chief of Staff of the Western Command.[1][2] A recipient of the Sena Medal (gallantry award) and Vishisht Seva Medal, he previously commanded the Black Elephant Division. He also held the office of Major General General Staff (Operations) of the Western Command[3]
