PureKana, LLC is an American holding company that produces organic cannabidiol (CBD) based products. It is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona. It was founded in 2017 by Jeff Yauck and Cody Alt.

PureKana LLC was founded in 2017 by Jeff Yauck and Cody Alt.
PureKana became part of a public company officially in December 2020 through a reverse takeover (RTO) of AF1, which trades on the TSX-V exchange under the ticker symbol “PKAN.”
It now has a Canadian parent company called PureK Holdings Corp, based in Vancouver, Canada.
In 2020 PureKana was ranked in the top 5 CBD companies in the United States.[1][2]
In 2021, the brand began expanding in various international markets, including the European Union, the United Kingdom, Asia, and Latin America.
In January 2021, PureK Holdings Corp announced a collaboration with CBD Emporium, a leading retail specialty CBD chain with 25 locations through the U.S. After that, PureKana products were distributed at CBD Emporium’s physical stores and official website.[3]
Production[edit]
The hemp for producing CBD is organically grown in Kentucky and contains no GMO, pesticides, solvents, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers. As the PureKana brand is formulated with “science first” in FDA OTC-approved facilities, the production is carefully checked by third-party laboratories to make sure it is safe for consumption.[4]
Apart from CBD oil, the brand sells CBD capsules, topicals, edibles, and pet CBD products.

PureKana's purpose is to develop a lifestyle and wellness brand providing top quality and innovative hemp-based products. The company is well-known for its solutions to some health problems.[5]

Legalization[edit]
The company only uses hemp grown by the 2018 Farm Bill, which legalized the commercial cultivation of hemp under certain regulations and rules.[6][7][8]
PureKana confirms that CBD oil is legal and available to order in almost all U.S. states except Idaho, Wyoming, South Dakota. In general, in 2019 10 U.S. States legalized cannabis for adults.[9]
Cooperation[edit]
In December 2019 the Toronto based HeavenlyRx's acquired a majority ownership stake at PureKana. It acquired the majority in the company later.[10][11]
