Pushpita Awasthi or Dr Pushpita Awasthi (born 11 January 1960) is a writer from India.[1]

Life

Pushpita Awasthi was born in a Hindu family on 11 January 1960 in Uttar Pradesh, India. She has contributed to the promotion of the Hindi language and has been awarded Rashtriya Hindi Sewa Samman. She was greatly influenced by Vinoba Bhave.[2]

Award & Recognition

Professor Pushpita Awasthi was awarded the Padmabhushan Moturi Satyanarayan Award for the promotion of Hindi and writing abroad by the President of India, Mr. Pranab Mukherjee on 30 May 2017.[3]
