History
QV takes its name from its close association with Australia’s iconic Queen Victoria Hospital and was initially developed by chemist, Gerald Oppenheim and his wife, Rae.
After a request from the dermatology ward at the Queen Victoria Hospital, Gerald and Rae created a product that later became QV Bath Oil[5]. Together they found a need for skin care products that are designed for sensitive skin.
Product Lines
QV products are dermatologically tested and free from fragrance, soap and other common irritants[6]. The range includes pH balanced washes and gentle moisturisers for sensitive skin on both the face and body[7].
The top selling product in Australia is QV Gentle Wash followed by QV Cream[8]. There are multiple speciality product ranges that include QV Baby, QV Body and QV Face.
- QV Baby: A range of hydrating cleansers and moisturisers developed for babies’ delicate skin. QV baby products are free from colour, fragrance and other common irritants.
- QV Body: Free from fragrance, soap and other common irritants, the range gently cleanses and hydrates sensitive skin.[9]
- QV Face: Free from fragrance and enriched with ingredients that help support and hydrate delicate facial skin.[10]

Product Awards
QV Skincare was recognised multiple times as the best product for babies[13] [14][15]. QV Gentle Wash has been a regular winner of the Best in Beauty awards.[16][17]
