Queen Radio was a Beats 1 Radio show by Nicki Minaj that lasted from August 9, 2018 to October 29, 2018 with 10 episodes. The show was the most listened to broadcast on Apple Radio.[2] The show was hosted by Minaj.

The show was launched in support of Minaj's forth studio album Queen, which was released on August 10, 2018. The show featured celebrity guest appearances by Alicia Keys, Winnie Harlow, Kim Kardashian, Kelly Rowland, Swae Lee, Little Mix, Lil Wayne, Nene Leakes, Kandi Burruss, Lauren London, Kehlani, Tyga, Asian Doll, and Cassie.[3][4]

The show usually begins with Minaj reading fans' tweets. Throughout the show, Minaj plays a mixture of songs from her own playlist as well as some tracks from her album Queen. Additionally, Minaj gives advice to callers about their sex lives.[5][6]

On the Launch of the "Queen Radio" Minaj held a Q&A session with her fans and gave fans who participated in the discussion prizes (Including signed albums, signed merch, tour tickets),The show featured guest appearance by Normani, Kim Kardashian, Kelly Rowland, Lauren London, Winnie Harlow. After the delay of her forth studio album to August 17, 2018 due to to clearance issues Minaj finally released the project on the Queen Radio. [7]

Minaj celebrated the release of her studio album and played some tracks from the album. She addressed all the drama on "Barbie Dreams a Diss??", by declaring it was not a diss. Minaj announced that Ganja Burn would be the next video after Bed and Chun-Li[8][9][10]

During the show Minaj responded to some of her fans questions. Zane Lowe and Minaj Opened the show by paying tribute to Miss Aretha Franklin who passed away early morning. Alicia keys delivered a live performance of Franklin hit "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman. Minaj spoke about her upcoming co-headline to with Future "NICKIHNDRXX tour".[11]

During her acceptance speech at 2018 MTV Video Music Awards Minaj teased that she will be handing out the "c**ksucker of the day" award on her next episode. Minaj payed tribute to Harriet Tubman who was honored with "The Queen" award along Franklin, Normani and Ariana Grande. After Travis Scott unfairly knocking Minaj "Queen" album out of the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200, Minaj gave Scott the "Hoe N---a of the Week" award.[12][13]

Ebro Darden from Hot 97's made a appearance on the episode. During the episode, Minaj handed out her weekly award to Irving Azoff who used to run Live Nation, where he ended up as the "c---sucker of the day",Minaj accused Azoff of attempting to sabotage her "NICKIHNDRXX Tour". Minaj announced her music video for her single barbie Dreams after Bed will be directed by Hype Williams.[14][15]

Special guests on episode 6 were Ariana Grande, Jason Derulo, Trina and Tyga. Tyga was interviewed by Minaj about his ex-lover Kylie Jenner, where he talked about how he helped his ex to be where she is.[16]
7"Episode 7"September 6, 2018 (2018-09-06)
Minaj spent most of the episode talking about her “new boy” and her demanding sex life. On the episode, Minaj handed out her weekly awards to two women who photographed former Cosby Show actor Geoffrey Owens working at Trader Joe supermarket as a cashier. She subsequently offered Owens $25,000. Minaj then announced the release of BTS Idol music video.[17]

Minaj was joined by DJ Funkmaster Flex in studio for the duration of the show. She started the show by calling 6ix9ine, who she collaborated with on the song “Fefe". Minaj spoke for the first time about the altercation with fellow rapper Cardi B at the Harper's Bazaar party, and Cardi accused Minaj of liking a tweet about her mothering skills. Minaj denied the claims. She later announced the release date of her "Barbie Dreams" single video from "Queen" Album.[18] [19] [20] [21]

The show began with Minaj talking to popular New York podcast host Taxstone, currently serving out a jail sentence. The show guest appearances were Little Mix, Asian Doll, Swae Lee and Kehlani. Kehlani, who shortly announced her pregnancy called to the show, revealed her baby daddy was bisexual, the baby was planned and that marriage was not in her mind.[22][23][24]
10"Episode 10"October 29, 2018 (2018-10-29)
NeNe Leakes and Kandi Burruss from The Real Housewives of Atlanta were the guests on this episode. Kandi talked about her sex life and upcoming new music. Minaj confirmed she would be featured on Kanye West upcoming album titled Yandhi. She premiered her single with Tyga Dip. Transgender activist Ts Madison called to the show, before lunching into questioning one of the co-host Jean Nelson referred to Madison as a "he". Minaj quickly jumped into the conversation and corrected Nelson’s mislabeling.[25][26][27][28]
