From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Queen of Apostles Parish is a Roman Catholic parish in San Jose, California, United States. Established in 1960, Queen of Apostles was opened and celebrated its first Mass on December 8, 1961, the date of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. A member parish of the Diocese of San Jose, Queen of Apostles is located on 4911 Moorpark Ave, originally constructed amongst San Jose orchards. [1] The parish has had seven pastors, most notably Father James Mifsud [2], and currently Father Jeff Fernandez. [3] In 1964, the accompanying Queen of Apostles School was constructed. For its first term, only the first three grades were taught and extra classrooms were temporarily used for students of the next door Archbishop Mitty High School, which had been established but not yet constructed. Queen of Apostles temporarily went under renovation in 1992 and the parish's community center and new rectory were completed in 1998. [4]
