R. Kevin Hill
Randolph Kevin Hill (Born November 13th, 1960), known professionally as R. Kevin Hill, is an American philosopher and translator. He is the author of two books, the editor/co-translator of two books, and the author of numerous academic papers and book reviews. Hill is an associate professor of philosophy at Portland State University, where he has been teaching since 2004.[1]
Biography[edit]
Hill was born in Walnut Creek, California on November 13th, 1960.[2]
Hill received his B.A in philosophy from The University of Cincinnati. He received his Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign[1] and his J.D. from the Chicago-Kent College of Law. [3]

Hill has been teaching in the philosophy department at Portland State University since 2004.[1] He also serves as a pre-law advisor to students.[4]
Awards[edit]
At the Chicago-Kent College of Law, Hill received CALI Awards for Excellence in Justice and Constitutional Law.[3]
In 2019, Hill won an Outstanding Teaching Award in the philosophy department at Portland State University.[5]
