Rahkel Bouchet is an American lawyer who currently serves as a magistrate judge for the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.[2] In September 2019, she was nominated by President Donald Trump to a 15-year term as an associate judge on the same court.[3] On January 3, 2021, his nomination was returned to the President under Rule XXXI, Paragraph 6 of the United States Senate. His nomination was resubmitted later that same day.[4] His nomination was referred to the United States Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs.
Bouchet graduated from Immaculate Heart High School in 1990, at 16 years of age. She received her B.A. from Howard University in 1993 and her J.D. from the Howard University School of Law in 1997.[5]
