Raimond Gerard Lap (born December 15, 1959) is a Dutch composer of music for toddlers and babies.
His company is or was RGL Music Productions B.V., founded in 1987. It produces and distributes almost all of the albums produced by Raimond.
Biography
Lap learned the piano as a child and began composing. He attended a conservatory but dropped out to start a pop music group which performed throughout the Netherlands. He won a prize for best composition and wrote his first single. After six years at three conservatories, Lap set up his own music-lesson practice, giving lessons in piano, arranging, general musical theory and composition to children and adults. He developed courses and teaching material and composed film music, commercials and tunes for radio and television.[citation needed]
